Hi

Hello, my name is Jessica Galdamez. I am a double major in biology and women and gender studies. I am a senior at Rutgers and am taking this course because it fulfills my requirement for Art. Another reason I am taking the course is because this class will incorporate history and women, which is exceptionally rare. Women have always been considered a shadow throughout history but I have found that they are generally a major part of any movement. In my history I have focused on women and their roles in war or in a difficult political position. I want to see how women are incorporated into art. Ultimately, I would like to combine my two majors into a single career.
